Mission
As Operational Manager you are responsible for management and continuing improvement of service operations and for the profitable growth of Power Technique Service business.
Responsibilities and objectives
- Lead Operational Team (10 people)
- Provide high quality service to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction by max. NPS score.
- Maximize cash-flow by close control of WIP and Receivables.
- Manage and supervise effectively the planning and service technicians, inclusive of manpower and equipment.
- Develop Service infrastructure around our customer.
- Follow up on policies and implement procedures to harmonize practices in maintaining the Atlas Copco Standards such as “The Way We Do Things”, Atlas Copco identity, warranty policy, aftermarket products, etc.
- Constantly look for the best practices to optimize the operational process and standardized working methods.
- Control overall cost of all service operations functions in line with the annual target. Implement corrective actions if required.
- Maintain control over the productivity and keep work in progress to a minimum.
- Support other departments for any spare parts information, service job requirements or machine modifications.
- Evaluate training needs of his/her service team and ensure the training realization.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Plan & supervise all normal service activities.
- Coordinate assignment of technicians & ensure technicians has been appointed a service job.
- Develop and retain a strong Service team by appropriate recruitment, training (both technical and soft skills) and motivation of the staff.
- Ensure the regular Performance and Development review for all staff.
- Guarantee safety standards required by AC and local authorities including a workplace safety and ensure appropriate compulsory certification of the service staff required by law.
Experience and knowledge requirements
- University Degree in Engineering and/or at least 5 years’ experience in a similar environment
- Extensive knowledge of manufactory, production methods and industry trends
- Negotiation skills
- Presentation skill
- Good planning & organizing skills.
- Strong leadership skills, pro-active in looping for efficiency improvements and result oriented.
- Ability to build strong & effective working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Languages: native in Russian, English – upper intermediate.
