Position: Senior HR Manager
Main purpose of the job:
We are looking for a Senior HR Manager to maintain and implement HR policies, initiatives and specific projects within agreed timescales and budgets to support the delivery of the Organization objectives.
The jobholder will be responsible for delivering key HR functions: recruitment, selection and adaptation of new employees, facilitation of performance management process, training and development process, employee relation issues managing, internal communications related to personnel and organization changes.
The jobholder will report to the Chief Operations Officer and work closely with the wider team.
Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable and has experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, employee engagement, and employee development.
Can take responsibility for the quality of own work and ensure delivery of professional excellence and expertise at all times. Has strong communication and organizational skills.
Primary responsibilities
- Recruitment: attract and select people with the right skills, expertise and qualifications to deliver Organizational objectives and to contribute positively to the values and aims of the business. Cooperate with the management of the department/teams leaders on the profile of the future employees. Conduct, organize and coordinate interviewing process.
- Induction: schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an efficient first-day experience.
- Learning & Development: identify training needs and ensure delivery according to the required. Work with the training providers including adapting or advancing programs, develop and coordinate internal workshops/seminars/presentations.
- Performance management: lead activities and set of processes that aim to maintain and improve employee performance in line with the Organization’s objectives. Develop, implement and maintain performance and talent management program and the related procedures. Provide support in the definition and implementation of career planning and job rotation.
- Compensation and benefits: assist with administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs. Undertake salary benchmarking and supply information to management. Provide support in the definition and implementation of salary and reward system.
- Policies and procedures: assist with developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations. Actively identify gaps, propose and implement necessary changes to cover them. Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and the Organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience.
- Internal communications: act as the performance improvement driver and initiate positive changes in the people management. Participates in communications programs to successfully impart the company’s mission, values, culture, and objectives.
- HR advisory: provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory services to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
- HR reporting: participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
- HR documents/systems: maintain employee records through the internal HR system. Ensure legal compliance of HR state with federal regulations and applicable employment laws. Assist with review and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational charts.
General responsibilities
- Participate in the special projects and perform other duties as deemed operationally necessary.
- Provide cover for HR team members in their absence.
Requirements essential to the position
Education
- Higher education, Master/Bachelor degree.
Professional experience
- 3+ years of HR Generalist/Manager experience.
Skills and competencies
- Advanced level of English and Russian.
- Proficiency in all MS Office programs.
- Ability to take initiative and suggest ideas for improvements; proactively contribute to the work of the whole team.
- Ability to learn quickly and take new responsibilities, be open to taking on different roles.
