WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in managerial role (preferably including matrix management);
- Previous successful experience of establishing new processes and ways of working;
- Minimum 3 years of experience within in commercial area of retail industry (preferably home furnishing industry);
- Previous successful experience of working in multicultural environment including leading remote teams;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- Strong knowledge of strategy development, i.e. how to set direction, create and manage long-term plans, set budgets and goals, and follow up on KPIs;
- Strong knowledge of partnership development, i.e. how to identify, build and maintain trustful relationships with partners both internally and externally in a responsible way, by selling and sharing an idea to collaborate around;
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, outlooks and emerging, legislations, requirements and compliance standards in key customer segments;
- Strong project management knowledge on how to drive from the beginning till the end technologies to achieve organisational goals and objectives;
- Broad knowledge about active selling;
- Broad knowledge of the mechanisms to activate sales and the use of the commercial calendar and relevant associated activities;
- Broad knowledge of how to identify and realise opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling and up-selling of products and services to fulfill customer needs.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Develop IKEA Business market penetration strategy supporting Business Plan development and execution in the entrusted customer segments (insights of small and medium business customer needs, competitors’ analyses, SWOT analyses of the market) together with IKEA Business Regional Manager;
- Take responsibility for development of the tactical approach for market penetration in the entrusted customer segments, ensuring the commercial result and performance excellence throughout the year;
- ?Act as a member of the regional team in the assigned area of responsibility and proactively contribute to Regional plan/output in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals;
- Communicate strategic direction and Action Plan to IKEA Business Field Sales Specialists and/or IKEA Business;
- Specialists in the entrusted region and ensure high quality follow up in order to ensure outcomes are met;
- Steer operational excellence and encourage innovative thinking and entrepreneurship approach among IKEA;
- Business Field Sales Specialists and/or IKEA Business Specialists to ensure seamless and coherent customer experience across channels for small and medium businesses;
- Actively drive acquisition of new business customers with focus on small and medium enterprises through existing regional touchpoints and be responsible to transfer large key accounts to IKEA Business Key Account Managers in entrusted region;
- Take overall responsibility for driving sales and customer KPI performance for IKEA Business Field Sales Specialists and/or IKEA Business Specialists in the entrusted region to ensure sustainable growth;
- Provide required expertise related to sales to small and medium business customers in collaboration with Customer;
- Fulfilment in order to secure proper and timely planning and execution of the orders thus ensuring customer satisfaction;
- Provide required expertise related to sales to small and medium business customers in collaboration with Regional;
- Service Business team in order to identify the service offer development potential required by the IKEA Business customers, and to develop competitive Service Price and convenience ladder in entrusted region;
- Provide required expertise related to sales to small and medium business customers in collaboration with Marketing team to develop the Marketing, PR & Communications strategy and CRM (customer relationship management) plan for B2B (business-to business) segment to ensure that IKEA is positioned as a preferred partner for business;
- Be responsible for the definition of recruitment needs and recruitment of the required number of IKEA Business Field;
- Sales Specialists and/or IKEA Business Specialists according to standards set, to ensure the required number of co-workers is in place;
- Secure the right level of competence development, individual goal setting and follow-up of IKEA Business Field Sales;
- Specialists and/or IKEA Business Specialists team in the entrusted region, to secure succession and contribute to the succession pool on the country level;
- Be an active player in working on sustainability initiatives within selling thus ensuring sustainability priorities are reflected across offering.
