Global Learning Developer Supervising Associate (Fixed Term Contract for 1,5 years)
Job Summary:
Participates in technology learning development and delivery of global learning programs designed to increase the level of understanding, knowledge and capabilities of EY Technology personnel. Participates on project teams, occasionally acting as instructional designer, to effectively develop course materials. Drafts communications to course participants and manages learning schedules. Will interact with EY Technology project team members, subject matter resources, and third party instructional developers when needed to deploy learning initiatives in a timely and quality manner in agreement with program deployment plan. This role works directly with the COCM Learning Assistant Director to implement technical learning programs. Responsible for managing consistent, high-quality technical learning from Global Delivery Services for new and emerging technologies that are introduced to the EY infrastructure.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Leads the development of overall strategies for key technical learning and development initiatives that address IT Services’ greatest area of need
- Provides support to learning, projects, programs or initiatives in multiple ways including gathering feedback on types of training EY Technology employees seek, following direction from supervisors in developing learning programs, and testing out/providing feedback on content delivered in new learning programs
- Escalates learning and development needs of managers, sponsors and stakeholders to Lead Learning Deployment Manager as appropriate so that learning programs can be delivered and/or developed in a timely manner. Directs managers to existing learning programs that may be able to satisfy their need.
- Interacts with technical specialists, instructional developers and course instructors to create and/or modify material for courses and explain in detail what course participants are seeking to get out of the training
- Contributes to project by promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing as part of course development
- Manages technology content for all EY new hires as part of Welcome to EY
- Interacts with subject matter specialists to manage updates to EY Technology onboarding portal
- Assists the EY Technology Learning Assistant Director with assessing overall learning needs and provides support for learning coordination in planning and deploying classes
- Reviews individual learning course results and suggests solutions, if needed ,so that learning meets defined capability development requirements
- Works with external learning vendors to deliver courses when commercial learning solution is selected
- Responsible for creating and maintaining project documentation (reporting, meeting minutes, process documentation) for assigned projects
- Leads/serves as instructor for newly developed courses in both instructor-led and virtual environment

- Works to resolve project challenges or escalates issues as appropriate
- Suggests courses of actions and manages interactions for positive progress
- Occasionally faced with problems which have not been encountered before and appropriately identifies challenges and potential issues early to address them in a timely fashion
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Familiar with learning design for classroom, virtual, or e-learning delivery
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of software tools for creating e-learning
- Ability to work both independently and within teams
- Knowledge of accepted learning and development practices
- Ability to interact with various levels of personnel
- Project management skills
Supervision Responsibilities:
- Ability to build strong working relationships and mentorships with other members of the Learning team to achieve common goals
- Receives general direction and minimal direct supervision from EY Technology Learning Assistant Director
- Work is closely reviewed for results achieved
- Oversees work product of Global Delivery Services Training Support Services

Other Requirements:
- Must be able to participate and moderate on global calls, which may require attendance during "off hours" - i.e. early before normal start time or late after normal end of business day
- Travel as required, including global travel to fulfill assignment or participate in Global network activities
Job Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- Approximately 5-7 years work experience in a technical, professional or learning organization
- Fluent English
