Major duties:
Product Support Specialist DTAC (Construction & Forestry Division)
- works as technical analyst and technical expert to help dealers to troubleshoot technical problems and identify root causes of the problems;
- Assists and advises channel partners and field staff in solving complex technical problems on specific products;
- Monitors DTAC (Dealer Technical Assistance Center) work queue from Russian/CIS dealers and ensures timely resolution of technical questions related to all types/models of C&F equipment;
- Investigates in-field problems, collects data and determines corrective action needed and advises channel partners how to effect remedy and appropriate follow-up;
- Communicates detailed information to the factories to determine cause of problems and appropriate long-term solution;
- Coordinates installation and in-field testing of factory supplied experimental parts. Prepares follow-up reports and communicates results to the factories.
- Delivers product training, technical, and/or business management training to channel partners, Company employees or customers;
- Assists with special aftermarket projects and promotions;
- Provides feedback to the factories PPMs and R&D regarding local needs and demands to support Deere value proposition (Productivity, uptime low daily operational costs);
- Provides parts stocking recommendations to the EAPDC parts planners. Applies own expertise to help develop recommended initial parts stocks for the company dealers and Warehouse;
- Analyzes warranty claims submitted by dealers and proving cases which can be considered as a warranty. Helps to identify core reasons of the failures and reports them to factory engineers;
- Travels to collect failure data and application data to provide problem definition on complex problems;
- Interfaces with factory engineering and field service;
- Participation in marketing activities, such as demos & customer visits as a product expert;
Knowledge & skills:
- Knowledge of dealer product support capacity and competencies;
- Understanding of Customer Support Process;
- Analytical skills;
- Customer support experience with customer interaction regarding products, parts, and services;
- Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems;
- Fluent English, native Russian.
