This position involves working on projects for a leading Swiss pharmaceutical and biotechnology company.
We are inviting Digital Workplace Service Manager to join our team of professionals.
The Digital Workplace Service Manager is a technical leader responsible for implementing and supporting capabilities for our enterprise level digital workplace.
Working closely with our service providers you will
- Implement, monitor and operate the Company's digital workplace technologies
- Act as reference expert for digital workplace: laptops and desktop, mobile devices, client security, audio/video conferencing, Windows configuration and patching, Office 365 integration)
- Integrate digital workplace technologies in the overall Company landscape
- Ensure stability and security of the digital workplace technology through effective endpoint management and timely patching
- Establish computing configuration and operating standards in coordination with Global IT teams
- Develop a vision and roadmap to drive the digital workplace continuous improvement and modernization
In Addition, you will:
- Oversee digital workplace technology projects
- Manage vendors and ensure delivery in accordance with contractually agreed service levels and KPI’s
- Support security operations processes as required by the IT Security organisation
- Actively participate in resolving high-priority outages and troubleshooting efforts
- Ensure the platform meets the Group quality and security standards
Required:
- Completed university degree or 4 years in a relevant domain (e.g. Engineering or IT)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience (technical and service management)
- Experience with digital workplace technologies (hardware, Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
- Experience as service manager and in leading enterprise IT deployment projects.
- Experience building technology roadmaps and aligning with enterprise architecture.
- Hands-on experience with digital workplace tools (SCCM and INTUNE primarily), Active Directoryand desktop virtualization
- Customer focus and delivering excellent customer experience
- Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment.
Optional requirements:
- Understanding and experience in Microsoft licensing model
- Process design
- ITIL certification
- Have worked in a mid-size consulting firm
