For a Night Shift Customer Support Agent role you should love to help others, can keep smiling even when dealing with tough customers (empathy is important), and have a passion to learn about software products. You will work two nights (Tuesday and Thursday) and 2 times 4 hours in the weekend.
Excellent and quick English writing is a must, you will have to speak on the phone with native speakers.
Your typical day includes:
- Answering our customers’ questions with timeliness and good cheer; using email, phone and chat to explain.
- Coaching new users through the fundamentals of using their FlippingBook product.
- Answering questions from more experienced FlippingBook customers
- Diving deeper into technical issues - learning solo by trying, testing and checking, and in collaboration with more seasoned teammates.
- Spotting users’ feedback about the product and our support resources, and sharing their voice with the rest of the team.
This job might be for you if:
- You love trying out different approaches to solving the problems you encounter in everyday life, especially by Googling.
- Friends come to you first since you’re such a patient and empathetic listener.
- You proofread your emails for clarity and accuracy three times before you send them out, just in case.
- You are great at flying solo, managing your own time.
- You ask questions.
- You love to learn, especially things like how to create websites and similar.
- You love to help others learn, putting in the extra effort until you’re confident you’ve helped them think through their problem.
- You can work nights on Tuesday, Thursday and flexible daytime hours during weekend.
Your success will be measured by:
- The quality of support you give customers, based on customer feedback and internal review.
- The quantity of your customer conversations and contribute to the team.
- Your advocacy for improvements to the FlippingBook product and customer experience.
- Your contribution to our team’s success and well-being: embracing responsibility; improving processes; asking questions; learning and teaching others; doing fun work.
