Purpose of the job:
The primary objective of Retail Compliance Audit is to support IKEA Retail in obtaining independent assurance (value protection & value enhancement) that relevant business processes are focused on their objectives, adequate control mechanisms are in place, and there is a full compliance with applicable laws and internal regulations.
The job of Retail Compliance Audit Manager involves timely execution of risk-based & process oriented audits ensure, that the process is understood and accepted by every co-worker. To create efficiency and develop the business by ensuring actual implementation of steering documents.
Main assignments:
- Plan, prioritise and manage reviews so that activities are conducted efficiently and with minimal disruption to day-to-day business operations;
- Conduct risk-based & process oriented reviews according to yearly plan; Suggest changes for compliance review based on business changes and priorities;
- Lead and develop team of reviewers;
- Develop understanding of compliance importance for the store and service office functions;
- Analyse and improve business operations, procedures and processes to ensure Company goals are met;
- Produce written reports on findings, provide recommendations for changes to the processes and systems that will minimize risks and improve performance;
- Ensure that actions based on outcome of conducted review activities are carried out and implemented by responsible managers in a timely manner;
- Contribute to the development of corporate risk map and internal control framework;
- Support the best practice sharing throughout the organization;
- Take an active role in the continuous improvement of compliance process.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience from risk management, compliance or internal audit positions;
- Experience in Compliance roles in Retail and/or Supply sector(s) is a plus;
- Understanding of the business needs and support them to place the necessary compliance requirements on their business process or solution;
- Ability to interpret standards and legislation and support the business to implement these into their business process or solution;
- Proven leadership & management skills;
- Ability to apply strategic, tactical and operational thinking and translate compliance;
- Strong facilitation and communication skills;
- Ability to lead complex compliance topics;
- Ability of leading in a changing environment;
- Project management and change management skills;
- High integrity;
- Self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently;
- Analytical skills;
- Fluent English.
