Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist
- Develop and execute manual and automated tests in order to ensure software products quality.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
- Identify, record and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
- Assist users in UAT, assist project manager in UAT organization and facilitation.
- Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
- Work co-operatively and provide support and guidance in the respective area for all staff.
As a IT Service Desk Specialist
- Accept IT and information security-related calls by phone, register an incidents, resolve requests
- Ensuring that user requests are logged and resolved within the approved time frame
- Escalate problems reasonably, accurately and on time
- Provide first line technical support and problem solving in cases of user hardware/software failure
- Providing of first line technical and/or support and problem solving in cases of network failure
- Provide installation and upgrading of computer systems hardware and software
- Handle multi-function devices (print, scan, copy)
- Training users
- Maintaining all IT Services procedures, databases and documentation
Competencies, Skills and Experience
- At least 1-3 year of working experience in the related field of testing and support.
- Higher education (in Computer Science or Engineering area is a plus)
- Ability to test multi-tier, web-based applications.
- Intermediate level of English both written and oral.
- Knowledge of networking technologies
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Advanced user of MS Office 2013 products (mainly Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Skype for Business)
- Professional knowledge of Windows 7, 10 (certificate is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Active Directory and SCCM knowledge is a plus
