Overview
We are FundCount, a growing international fintech company with a 20-year history and a global office and staff footprint. We provide a unified software solution for investment, general and partnership accounting and analysis. Our product delivers operational efficiency and insight to investment management professionals – family offices, fund administrators and alternative fund managers.
Client Support Agent will be responsible for working closely with FundCount’s clients to:
- Answer complex client questions in a timely manner.
- Proactively gather needed information to answer and solve clients’ needs.
- Clearly and effectively communicate with the development and engineering team as well as the Business Account Managers.
- Support an Investment Accounting ERP system written in Java that can run both on cloud and on premise.
Remote/ virtual work in any European time zone.
Our product
All portfolio and partnership accounting activity in FundCount is aggregated within one software system and flows through a single general ledger. Investment information is consolidated, accurate, and instantly available, providing insight and the foundation needed for in-depth analysis that drives decision-making.
Our clients are single and multi-family offices, fund administrators, private equity firms, and hedge funds.
What you will do
- Provide hands-on support to clients, in written form or during virtual meetings.
- Focus on solving problems: gather all needed information, conduct necessary research, and provide comprehensive testing.
- Work with technical and development staff as issues need to be escalated.
- Learn FundCount products to a level of expertise.
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
What we expect from you
- 2+ years of customer support experience at the Software Engineering company.
- Understand basic accounting terms and concepts.
- Proficiency in software systems, SQL.
- Ability to learn new things quickly and independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to have
- Experience with fund accounting and administration systems.
- Be familiar with Jira or similar systems for task/issue management.
