Analyst
Our Multinational Client Department focuses on building long-term relationships with largest Russian and multinational corporations. We are about to reinforce our team with an expert, whose key areas of focus include corporate analysis and valuation; industry-wide research and peer analysis; assessment of risk/return profile of structured corporate finance positions; portfolio analytics; modeling for extra-ordinary corporate finance transactions (M&A, LBO, MBO, IPO); support in deal presentation to relevant internal Risk and Credit Committees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform corporate industrial and financial analysis, including corporate valuation; extraction of relevant company-level multiples; extrapolation of industrial trends.
- Execution of structured finance transactions, including support in industrial and financial modeling; contracting with relevant Legal, Compliance, and Fiscal bodies; presentation of internal dealbook reports.
- Support financial modeling of Investment Banking transactions – M&A (origination, advisory, execution), LBO, MBO, IPO, Structured Export Finance, Project Finance.
- Assist in creating presentations on strategy, business performance, planning initiatives and other materials for internal and external audiences, including materials for pitches, strategy presentations, and reports of analyses and valuation findings for Management and /or Board of Directors.
- Generate weekly and monthly business and pipeline reporting.
- Perform comprehensive and in-depth client planning.
- Communicate and interact with team members across business manager functions, finance, personnel, and technology.
- Assist with a variety of ad hoc assignments, typically with time constraints.
- Be a knowledgeable resource and point person who can efficiently facilitate the team's day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Preferred candidates will have a background in one or more of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Banking, Trading, with university degree in economics, finance, mathematics (Bachelor's degree required).
- Have 2-4 year experience in corporate banking /finance.
- Demonstrate a combination of business aptitude, quantitative /qualitative/analytical skills, strategic and creative thinking.
- Proficiency of software applications, primarily MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ability to manage large amount of data.
- Superior written and oral communications skills both Russian and English.
- Have proven experience in a role that’s self-directed.
- Have high level of responsibility and accuracy.
- Exhibit assertiveness, attention to detail, ability to learn new skills and grasp concepts quickly, ability to multi- task across varied projects, dedication to building a career in the corporate and investment banking industry, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
